Volunteer Opportunities

Help Make Cowboy Fest a Success

Cowboy Fest in the Pines is made possible by a dedicated team of volunteers who help create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests, performers, vendors, and fellow members. Whether you can help for a couple of hours or throughout the weekend, we'd love to have you join the team. No previous experience is required for most positions and many roles can be completed with a friend or family member.

Volunteers help bring Cowboy Fest to life and receive:

  • One complimentary weekend pass for each 5-hour shift

  • The opportunity to meet performers, vendors, and guests

  • A fun and rewarding way to contribute to the resort

Event Details

July 17–19, 2026

Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Volunteer Expectations

We ask volunteers to:

  • arrive 5-10 minutes before your shift.

  • check in with your Team Lead.

  • bring a positive attitude and willingness to help.

  • notify us as soon as possible if you can no longer attend.

Volunteer Roles

Welcome Team & Site Check-In

  • Welcome guests and help create a positive first impression.

  • Ideal for friendly and outgoing volunteers.

  • Responsibilities may include:

    • Greeting guests

    • Checking tickets and wristbands

    • Answering basic questions

    • Providing event schedules

    • Directing guests to sites and activities

    • Sell firewood and 50/50 tickets.

Parking & Traffic Support

  • Direct guests to parking and help maintain safe traffic flow at the event gate.

  • Ideal for volunteers who enjoy being outdoors and interacting with people.

  • Responsibilities may include:

    • Directing vehicles

    • Assisting RV arrivals

    • Monitoring pedestrian areas

    • Helping guests find parking locations

Vendor & Silent Auction Market Support

  • Help ensure vendors have a smooth and successful weekend.

  • Ideal for volunteers who enjoy meeting new people.

  • Responsibilities may include:

    • Assisting with vendor arrival

    • Welcoming bidders, encouraging participation

    • Monitoring bid sheets

    • Assisting with closing and item pickup

Main Event Runners & Floaters

  • Flexible support role assisting wherever help is needed most.

  • Ideal for adaptable volunteers who enjoy variety.

  • Responsibilities may include:

    • Deliver supplies

    • Provide relief

    • Volunteer support

    • General event operations

Kids Zone Host

  • Help supervise the children's activity area.

  • Ideal for volunteers who enjoy working with families and children.

  • Responsibilities may include:

    • Monitoring participation

    • Ensuring safety rules are followed

    • Assisting younger children

    • Keeping the area organized
